I work at Brightpoint. I did work for
Touchstone Wireless in Bristol, TN.,but we were
bought out by Brightpoint who closed our company in Bristol down and offered jobs to relocate to Indiana. So here I am in Indianapolis IN I still can't believe I did it.
I love my job but I am really missing my family. I work in the DOA department at
Brightpoint which stands for Dead On Arrival. The main customer I work for is Alltel I receive in phones from customers that have problems . I check the phones to see if it has a legitimate problem and determine if it is in warranty or not. If it has a legitimate problem and is in warranty I will ship it to the OEM which is who Alltel bought it from (samsung,LG, Motorola etc..) If it has no problem or is locked, has liquid damage or customer abuse or is out of warranty I send it to another department at Brightpoint and it will them be repaired and resold .
