The Bikes ~ 1940

My Daddy (little guy) and his older brother, Sonny, when they got new bikes for their birthdays (Dad was in March...turned 5 and Sonny in April, turned 9). I didn't finish the journal tag, as I had to ask my Uncle when this was (my father died in 2001, so I always seek out my Uncle's guidance on dating stuff!). Turns out, he remembered! Taken in Raleigh NC and he even remembered the street name: Chamberlain St. Will update the tag now!

One my more simple layouts...and was fun to do something in 20 minutes rather than hours!
