When I lived in my house on Wilson avenue, I had an open spiral staircase. Abbi and Tessie liked to lay on the top stairs and look down into the main floor of the house. Abbi would go upstairs for bedtime, and if I didn't follow her right away, she would come back to the top of the stairs and "talk" to me... wanting me to go to bed.
