This is for the Use your supplies Challenge Week 4 - History. I did the twist which was to use supplies that were over 6 months old.

This LO is from 1998 when I got to meet Brian Boitano. The journaling reads:
As a kid I idolized Brian Boitano. I'll
never forget watching the “Battle of Brians”
during the 1988 Olympics. I even had a poster
of him on my bedroom wall. I thought he was
one of the most sexy and talented athletes I
had ever watched.

In 1998, when I was 9 months pregnant with
Sierra, I heard Brian Boitano was coming to
town to judge a semi-pro competition. The
competition was the night before my due date
so we didn't buy tickets to see it. When I heard
he was doing a book signing a few days before
though I jumped at the chance to meet him in
person. I will always cherish that signed book!

We ended up buying tickets to the competition at
the last minute because I hadn't had the baby yet.
He came out while the scores were being tallied
and did some skating. Seeing his jumps and his
speed made me idolize him all over again.

I went into labor the following morning. My
husband swears to this day that it was the
excitement of seeing Brian Boitano skate live
that I sent me into labor.
