Marlene, this is powerful, amazing & heartwarming. The journaling is incredible, I appreciate your honesty. I love the heart w/ the bandaid, the use of mesh & bubble wrap, the overall placement of things... mostly, I love seeing those 3 beautiful, smiling faces at the bottom. You & your boys together make an AWESOME family together! Though there's pain from the past, you're all so blessed to have one another... I know you already know that! Marlene, great use of that bubble wrap. Love how you stitched down the mesh and heart. Great texture on that heart, especially with the added band-aid. Really cool how you broke up such poignant journaling with the title, almost like the journaling is divorced, so bold and out there which is very much what dirty scrapping is about. Also love how you "dirtied" up the page with the paint. I especially like the contrast between your page's subject and the smiling faces of your family. Go on, gyal! TFS!
