My daughter loved this layout when it was done! She has all of the Land Before Time movies, she loves digging at the beach and dinosaurs, so it’s a perfect pairing.
I pieced together elements from 2 different motifica papers to create the arch at the top and sewed along the seam with gold zigzag, then accented with straight sewing in silver.
The border along the bottom is hand cut large wingding fonts from motifica papers from the 6x6 pad. Then I accented with punchies and “rings” in different shapes and colors. Next I sewed three wavy lines, one straight silver, straight navy and zigzag gold. Some of the curves are accented with navy mini brads and most of the punches have clear microbeads glued all over them to make it look more “magical”. Mica nameplate is attached with matte gold brads and is labeled w/ the P-touch machine tape.
The quote follows a stitched line and border made with decorative tape. It’s printed on transparency film. This was the perfect layout to finally use those old brass decorative buttons I’ve been “collecting” for some time, they have the image of a sun on them.
