Your dd is so cute in this. I have a thing about cutting off hands though. It always distracts me. I learned it at the portrait studio. We would get demerits if we cropped out an appendage. LOL
i like the photo, and you got the idea behind the assingment. gold star! the background throws me off a bit, but over all its all works... i guess im just expecting to see some grass or a tree as the background not bark. her arm is almost chopped off at a wierd point but is saved, i would like to see more of the left arm but other than that I think i'm giving you a B+ :) on this photo.
I love that it has that downward angle! I am in no way able to comment, technically speaking, but I like her sweet little smile and how you caught her looking up at you. I would pull out a little more to see more of her in mid swing but I can't wait to see this pic scrapped on a beautiful LO!
What a cutie pie! Okay, I think Jakki's take a step back would be a good call here. Just to get her arm in the frame. Although, it would have been cute to have it horizontal and more close of her face, maybe with the bottom of the picture being just below her hands-if you had her still over to the far left, you would have gotten the swinging/in-motion movement.
