Description: This was taken on my Grandparents golden wedding anniversery December 26, 1955. Miss Jenny received a letter from William in the fall of 1905 asking her to marry him. Shortly after she borded a train bound for California to become Williams wife. They returned to there home in the Blueridge Mountains several years later and had a long and happy marrige of 54 years when William, my Grandfather passed away. We should all be so lucky as to have the love that they had for each other.
