Description: This is a picture of my best friend and my Father taken in Korea 1959. He was seperated from his wife and children for almost 10 years while he served his county thirty two years of active military service. He was vetern of WWII, The Korean War, and again in Korea during the often violent occupation of Korea. His life was marked with an uncommon valor which most military men carry. He was humble, greatful and no doubt the most honored man in my life. As I aged into adulthood, he became my best friend, he was always there yet never critized, ever watching over me and my daugher, and he was blessed with spending his last years with his granddaugher, they were the years he had miss with me. His love for his country and for his family can not be written in words from me, it was a love from his heart that was never ending and always with me, then, and now.
