This is my first challenge attempt! This is for Jilliand's "meaningful song challenge" I chose this song by Jewel b/c for one, it was in my wedding video and always reminds me of that special day, and also b/c I think it describes a lot of how I feel now that I am with my husband. Not to be too sappy, but growing up, I did not have the most calm and peaceful childhood. And, sometimes I think that I have a lot of fear about things b/c of that, but I have found that my husband helps ground me, and takes away a lot of the fear that I might have about things. Anytime I am stressed, I know that I can lean on him and there is an absence of fear. I read once that human touch can slow the heart rate. Well, when I am near him, I calm down and feel more at peace which is why I chose this song. Here are the lyrics:
