SHCG - Sensational page! Great to see the return of your neutral palette w/ splashes of eye-catching turquoise & magenta. Another wonderful photo merge. I also like the tiny caption & its font in the right pic. LOL on the speech bubble. Your description makes me want to hear more about your journey & the characters you dealt with while you were on this adventure!
SHCG: Awesome LO... the arrangement is great, and I like how you put the border over the photos. The speech bubble is a hoot. (BTW, jealous of your photo merges! Wish I had that ability!)
SHCG: I love the fullness of the page. I like the border on the right and if I remember correctly it was on the other digi page you put up, so so tie in. I like the word bubble...I wonder how many times you heard that during the trip? Thailand in blue ties in with the journal sheet but I would like to see some green to pull the statue out from the top left, it is such a beautiful statue.
I got writer's block (the reason for the blank journaling). I am having a really hard time finding the right words to describe the group I was traveling with. Let's just say "traveling with 12 strangers in a foreign country came with MANY challenges." Which is a really polite way of describing the dynamics of the trip. Hey that sentence is a start! I am hoping by posting this page it will motivate me to finish the journaling.
The large photo is a composite of at least 4 photos. OK I'll admit it, I am addicted to photo merging! Just wait till I get a panoramic camera...then I will be merging panoramic shots with panoramic shots! Can you say "fold outs"!!!
SHCG: and just for clarification, my last gallery post was not my 1st digital scrapbooking page. It was the 1st page in this new vacation album. (I have already made approx 50 digital pages.)
May 30 - added the Journaling We huddled just inside the Grand Palace in Bangkok. Twelve strangers, from three countries, had come together for a 12-day tour. We suspiciously eyed each other as well as our guide, Amy. Little did she know how challenging it was going to be to navigate this group through the Temples & Tigers of Thailand. Trepidation (or should I say, TRIPidation) was already setting in as Amy gave us but the briefest of explanations on the layout of the palace. “If we get separated, meet back here”, she said. But like the Sierra Club's no one left behind hikes, I knew if you lost your guide you WOULD be left behind! so I had no intentions of letting Amy out of my sights.
