Description: A photo my DH Tom took for me, I had to be sure and give him credit!! I'm so happy to have the pair of mourning doves return to nest in our Blue Spruce, seeing them is almost as sure a sign of spring as sighting a Robin! Ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated by these monogomous birds and their haunting call.
WOW! I have one in my dining room. She was wounded and couldn't fly last fall. She must have been just a baby because she didn't start to look like this pic until just recently. She really didn't heal or she gets reinjured when I try to take her out of the cage. She makes the most delightful cooing noises. I guess she'll just have to be a part of the brood. Or should I say ZOO!
Very cool framing around the photo! Great layout! I love morning doves, too. They remind me of my childhood, listening to them in the country - I couldn't believe it was a birdy making that sound - Thx for the memory!

Love how you used the silk string like you used for your Genuine LO...it is so nice at framing the image. Beautiful colors, & pp swirls are nice touch! We have these birds in our neighborhood, and it is relaxing to hear them in the afternoon.
