SHCG: I find the yellow color of the mats to be too harsh. But again it may just be the way it photographed. I think these photos would have worked really well with a few black swirls. And still could work well with a few swirls that carry the eye from photo to photo. Are you brave enough for a little stamping?
Wow, beautiful pictures. This looks like it was an amazing trip. I also want to say I love the panoramic picture. You did a wonderful job piecing this together. My suggestion on this page would be to change that green background paper to something a little less plain. Because your pictures are so dark and the green paper is so light, it kind of draws my attention away from the pics. Once again though, beautiful photographs.
SHCG: I love the plaid look to the letters and how the Space Needle looks in the middle of the all the pics. The fish is too funny next to your journaling, though I'd switch places between these pieces and the ticket on the other page. Also, I'd anchor the sticker to something so that it doesn't look like it's floating in mid-air. Love the panoramic pic and the way the date looks in black with a white shadow.
SHCG: Awesome photos, just love how you went from night to day on the spread. I think a good idea would be to add a stripe of that paper you used to make the title and run in across both pages, it would tie it all together. Great job :)
SHCG - There are several elements on this 2-pager I really like, Michelle! I think the skyline panorama you created is terrific. I really like the title pp, its pattern comes across like stars & light, evoking both "night" & "day" to me. Cute fish, tower & boat embellies. Fab combo of the yellow mattes & the blue/green background. And I always love the use of actual memorabilia like tickets. I do wish there was a bit more flow between these 2 pages, as my focus is spread out in multiple directions. I think you could exclude at least 2 of the pics due to redundancy (the tower is featured in the middle left page pic & the middle right page pic, the bottom left page pic seems to be buildings you see in other pics, & the other ferry is featured in the middle right page pic & the bottom right page pic, so it's your choice of which 2 to exclude). Keeping the cool panorama, but having 2 less of the other pics on the LO, you might have enough room to place the remaining pics in a sort of "wave" across the 2 pages. Just a suggestion. If you'd rather not exclude pics (I know the feeling), then I'd go w/ Denitza's idea of moving the pics closer together. What a scenic & enjoyable trip you must've had!
I love the panoramic shot of the Seattle skyline! Love the fish on the journaling block too! I think you should put the date on a photo or the journaling block. Bring the pics closer together and outline the title letters. I would also put the panoramic photo on the bottom of the page and the rest of them above-since the panoramic pic is so big it messes with the balance of the page, at least for me. Looks like you had a blast with your HS friends!
Shcg: great photos. Love that you pieced together the panoramic shot of the skyline. The cross-hatched lettering takes my attention away from those photos and your great journaling, though.
This is page one of two LO's called a Night N' Day Ferry Ride. The top photos (there are 3) were "glued" together to show the entire Seattle Skyline from the water. This trip was made to have a mini High School reunion and surprise my best friend from High School. It was a surprise for her, and we had a blast.
