SHCG: Here I like the yellow mats. They work great with your pattern paper and the embellishments are perfect. I am sure someone poo-pooed cutting out the images but I think it adds interest to the page.
SHCG: What a wonderful page! I love the colors you used on this page and that bird caught my attention right away. Super cool! I cannot see a think I would change. Beautiful page!
SHCG: I am on the fence with this LO. I dont see anything I like, but I dont see anything I DONT like either.... make sense? I really cant comment- for once in my life I am speechless LOL
SHCG: I really like your glitter accent! It really gives a nice flow to the page. The only thing I would have done different would have been to make the rectangle pictures a little larger so they overlapped a bit... I think that would give some continuity to the right side of the page.
SHCG: What a great way to remember the Feb. birthdays! Love the pp that you used! Love the cut out peeps-I would switch the places of the guy and girl. I also think white mats on the photos will make them stand out more. I love the bird and the glitter!
SHCG: Nice color scheme. I like the inking and how you glittered the flourish's outline because it directs my attention from your main subjects to the journaling which is further assisted by the bird. The birthday peeps look great cut out; I'd just have them swap places since the top one is facing out of the page. I like how you labeled them in white and the other photos in red.
SHCG: I love that you did the pictures in sillouette, very cool way to make them stand out! I like that you did the glitter also, very nice. If you wanted to you could add some flowers around those 2 pictures to make it look like the flowers are coming out of the paper around them, hope I explained that right LOL :)
SHCG - You know, this is actually one of my faves from you, Michelle! You made the birthday boy & girl stand out by cutting them into silhouettes & glittering around them, plus added the eye-catching yellow mattes, thereby making them more of the stars on this LO. Meanwhile, the rest of the pics are arranged in a sort of curve that kind of frames the birthday people pics, bringing focus back to them. The "February" & cake embellies (in the top right/bottom left corners) balance each other out nicely but don't fight for focus. The color/pp choices are sunny & festive. I feel a real sense of flow on this page. I am totally grooving to this page!
shcg: I'm not quite sure about this page. I love the bg pp. The colors and gradiation is very pretty. Your February title seems lonely. I think the glittering may have been too much on that pp, actually. I do like your choice of yellow for photo mats and that you inked them.
There are 2 birthdays in the family in February, so we celebrate them together. I am not real thrilled with this LO. I added some glitter glue to accent the birthday boy and girl but it didn't turn out how I pictured it in my mind.
