SHCG: The string accent is a great idea but I think it is blocking the viewer from seeing the photo. Maybe you could move them to the corner of the photo. This is a great straight forward layout but next time experiment with overlaping and angles...something to carry the eye across the page. as an example the horseshoes are just fabulous but they carry the eye up or down...off the page. If the horseshoes went across the middle (from left to right) it would carry your eye across the pages and connect the viewer to the photos. "food for thought" for next time...

SHCG - Very cool that you're scrapping old pics! This neutral scheme works well w/ the subject. Love the use/placement of multipics & that the accordion pics house more of 'em! The leather(?) lacing looks outdoorsy & rugged, perfect for this. I like the idea of adding a title somewhere. Sorry you missed taking pics of the Clydesdales but hey a blurry pic is still good to retain the memories (I would've kept & scrapped a blurry pic too!).

SHCG: My apologies for not getting to your trio upload sooner. The horseshoes are cute. I like the added brads. The torn edge to the top of the journaling is a cool touch. The bg pp is much like a painted wall on a Spanish-style ranch home. I like the ribbon ties for the accordian style albums, and I like that idea, too, for incorporating even more pics on a page. I definitely think the spread needs a title. Right now, the photos appear to me to be separate blocks, but they're not really united, nor is there a flow to the arrangement. My main suggestion would be to unite them and create flow, maybe with strips of pp, and possibly some rearranging of select photos.

SHCG: What a great lo! I love the horse shoe borders and the pics tied up ! The journaling block is very nice so are the pics. I wish there was a title, but that is the only suggestion from me. Great job!

shcg - on the horseshoe thing, I'm pretty sure all horses are shoe'd to protect their hooves, but could be wrong. Anyways... I like the neutral tones to this, the use of horseshoes to signify horses, and especially the accordian albums on the pages. I feel as though you could use a title above the middle top photo (the one that's lowered) to fill that space and give some quick clue as to what the page is about. Great job getting old pics done!
