This page was for last week's Scraptathlon challenge.

February 1999 was a very eventful month for my husband and me-- we fell in love, became "official" and said "I love you" for the first time. That's what this page is about-- us falling in love. Smile That, and an irresistible opportunity to use this yummy BoBunny valentine's paper!!! LOL

Sorry the picture's not very good-- I swear we're not really green like that in real life! It's all overcast here today. Nah!

The felt hearts on here were inspired by a pillow on the front of Better Homes and Gardens (I think) -- it had these felt flowers that were all puckery and I thought they looked pretty cute. So I cut the hearts out and then used embroidery floss to gather them in a little and give them some dimension. :)

Journaling reads:
Seven years ago, I knew I was going to marry you, although we hadn't even had an official date yet.

Seven years ago, I discovered the compassion and generosity of your heart, and it made me fall in love with you.

Seven years ago, we held hands for the first time and it sent tingles down my spine.

Seven years ago, you gave me your class ring and I gave you mine, and we prayed together as boyfriend and girlfriend that God would bless our new relationship.

Seven years ago, we spent our first Valentine's Day as a couple separated by long miles.

Seven years ago, you ate all the Hershey's Hugs I gave you as a Valentine's Day gift and didn't tell me that you don't even like white chocolate.

Seven years ago, you told me you wanted to be absolutely sure before you said “I love you,” and I said I understood even though I knew already that you did.

Seven years ago, you said those magical words: “Erin, I think I'm in love with you,” and my heart took flight and still hasn't come back to earth.

Seven years ago, I fell in love with you. And today, I'm falling in love with you all over again.

In the journaling each sentence is separated by heart dingbats. :)
