This layout is about the day a Hurricane Hit Ohio - Journaling reads:

September 14, 2008 began as a warm and windy day. David and I met Shannon and her friend at King’s Island for P&G’s Dividend Day. As the day progressed the wind became stronger and stronger, eventually becoming so bad that David and I decided to head home. Right as we left the park, Hurricane Ike hit Cincinnati with winds gusting up to 75 miles per hour. The trip home was scary with power lines and trees down everywhere. When we arrived home we found that two of our huge pine trees had snapped and were blocking the road. David headed out with an ax to start chopping off limbs and neighbors soon arrived with chainsaws to help him get the trees off the road. We lost power soon after – along with almost all of the Cincinnati metropolitan area (more than 1 million people). Schools and businesses were closed for days as the power company worked around the clock to get the electricity back on. We were lucky and had our power back Monday morning – but many in the area had no electricity for a week. It was truly odd to be hit by a hurricane in land-locked Ohio!
