Holy Crap, you do look just like me on the inside, crazy isn't it. that is a great lo though. I wish you all the best with you pain, it is rough to be uncomfortable every day. god bless.
Fantastic!!! Love the LO!! So see Sue ...we have something in common...all screwed up!!! hahaha!!! I recently had to do jury duty and the alarm kept going off. Even though my purse went through that machine. Fourth try and the officer just said to me...any change in your pocket? Which I replied yeah, because he just seemed like he didn't want to go looking!!! It was also 7:00 in the morning too so...he figured I was good, but couldn't figure the alarm ...may of been the screws!!
You are just so amazing!! Only you could turn such an awful experience into such a creative page!! I had to giggle at the title, and how will it work when you go through the airport????
I'll tell you this definately got my attention, as soon as i saw it I had to take a look... I feel for you, I can't even imagine having to go through something like that. I hope that your recovery went well. And that you are 100% now. TAKE CARE OF YOU!!! GOD BLESS.
Oh my goodness! I'm sorry to hear that you had to have surgery. Thank goodness you are okay. Those xrays just make me hurt for you. I love the title you chose.
This is amazing. Love how you can take a painful procedure and turn it into a great lo! (Set off the metal detectors! Give airport security something to liven up their day. lol)
You know what I love about you?.....your amazing versitility in style, you can go from soft and pretty to funky, metal!!! and totally rock every style!! Well, that and you have such a great sense of humour about things that would bring others down!! Really cool page Sue and definately going into my growing collection of your pages!!....hope the back pain has gotten better for you!
This is amazing my friend, I love how you have turned your back problem into a lo with a funny twist and its brilliant, this is going into my favorites with so many bit of your other los. TFS my friend xx
WOWIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE........this lo is so very cool, love that you scraped it, and HOW you scraped it......you are such a clever girl!! LOVE this straight to favs!!
Ouch!! I feel for you, my dh has 6 screws, and 2 rods in his foot from an accident he had at work a few years ago. What a great layout though, never thought to do one on his injury. Love the title.
YOUCH!! but this LO is AWESOME!! love the color combo & the title is kinda funny hheeehee love the titling in the different fonts & the google eyes in LOOK - way cool LO
I like how you took a difficult time and made it into something positive. It really shows that you have a great attitude not only towards life but towards yourself. When I saw the title I thought you were talking about the genre heavy metal but when I looked at it a little more closely I realized it was much deeper than that. I'm proud of how you expressed yourself in this layout and your attitude. This must have been a difficult layout to make and I highly respect you for it. You did an incredible job.
This is so well designed!!!....Very visually appealing.....Even though the subject matter is serious (NOTHING funny about back surgery!), I love the humor conveyed in your title!
Wow, Sue, that's amazing! But leave it to you to make a cool, tongue-in-cheek lo about something others might whine and gripe about. You rock (pun intended) and so does this lo!
Ditto Kzookeeper! It's terrible that you're going through this, but what an amazing lo you made out of it!!! I so love the way you did the title and the pps you used!
I love this LO, the title is so awesome and i like that you added the 28 on there, i'm just glad i only hav 1 piece of metal in me! I'll bet you hurt a lot!
Oh my!!! I love the humor you can have about it, but it seems to frighten me a bit. I know I will never walk straight again without something, but I'm not ready for that!!! However, I LOVE your layout!!! How cool to use your x-rays as the focus photos and what a great title! Good job!!
“No Matter How You Look At It, I’m Into Heavy Metal’
Yes, those are my X-rays. This is the result of my spinal surgery. The star with the number 28 represents the fact that I now have 28 pieces of metal in me now (at last count) including rods and screws. So I guess I can really say: No matter how you look at it, I’m into heavy metal!!! Whew … no wonder recovery is so long!! I guess I’ll have to be careful at airports from now on, so I don’t set off their alarms! I think I’ll be adding a hidden tag in the back with details of my surgery.
