I have to explain why this is my favorite scrapbooking cutting tool Ė and itís not designed for scrapbooking either. Itís a folding sheetrock knife! Paul, my husband is in construction and of course we all learned how to help build whatever project that was going on, including several houses. (Yup! We did all the work too! We were just a tad bit younger then too!)
So one day in the lumber yard (of all places) I saw the cutest sheetrock knife. Actually, my first one was pink Ė but it has somehow disappeared. It took about 30 seconds for me to decide to buy it!!
As most of you know, a sheetrock blade is pretty sharp Ė on both sides, and you can buy a pack of 70 replacement blades for about $15.00. So common sense clicked in and thatís what Iíve been using ever since. That and my trusty metal ruler, for perfect straight edges!! And I love that it folds up, so if my grandkids come into my scrapping area they wonít get hurt.
