This is an older couple who we�ve known for over 30 years, who are very dear to us.
They never had any children, so when they got old, they didn�t have anyone to look after them, so we �adopted� them.

We invited them to live with us and built them an apartment downstairs with their own entrance and driveway.
That was 6 years ago. It�s sad when you see their health failing, but wonderful to have them as part of our family.
They are the grandparents my children didn�t have any more, and great-grandparents to my grandchildren.

This picture was taken on their 65th wedding anniversary. We brought cake and ice cream and had a little party.

The blue flowers on the left side pull out and there�s another picture of them with my 5 grandchildren
