Description: This is a photo of my parent's wedding day. Because they were married during World War II there wasn't much money or time for them to have a big wedding. I'd always seen this photo in a cardboard box and wanted to do something to make is "special"
The floral and vine border is punchwork. Most of the petals are punched circles that have been folded. I used waterbased pens to add some shading and a white pen to add highlights.

I love this page, it is so wonderful that you had the picture to scrap and did it so classic! I think the colors you used really compliment the hues in the picture. Beautiful!
Heritage layouts/old photos are my favorite. This is beautiful, and once again here's a great idea - the flowers of folded circles are wonderful. Beautiful photograph of your parents, just beautiful.
Jill, I inherited my parents extensive photo collection after they passed away. In fact, it was the collection of photos that brought me into the fold of this hobby. My husband had scanned the important photos on to the computer, but I felt it wasn't enough. After dragging my feet on getting into this hobby, I now feel a duty to my siblings, children and cousins to get this done! When I looked at the picture of your parents wedding, I knew I had found my inspiration! Thanks so much!
