I used a technique from a video by Dawn Woleslagle at www.stampawaywithme.blogspot.ca to watercolor these flowers. (VIDEO: Watercoloring Pretty Peonies, Friday, September 5, 2014) The flowers are from Wplus9 - Pretty Peonies. Other supplies: Clearly Besotted - Happy Everything for the word "Happy", Clearly Besotted - Sweet Roses for the "vase", Avery Elle - Simply Said - Happy and Simply Said - Hello for the "birthday, darling!" I used Tombow Dual Brush Markers to color the flowers and leaves and a Pumice Stone Distress marker for the vase and the "ground". I made a mess of the leaves so I went over them with a Derwent watercolor pencil in two green colors. I added the wood dots because I tore the card panel on the left side at the last minute. Grrrr! Card base is Neenah Desert Storm.
