"ile Carencro" was the name of the plantation at the time of Civil War. It is located near Sunset, LA and was where we lived for a year. The larger circle was made using a fleur de lis stamp and 3 colors of ink (white, mustard, & black). The circle edges were distressed and inked and the flowers were inked to match with rosettes added to the centers. The title letters were cut with Cricut Cursive 101 and Alphalicious cartridges.

Journaling: Used by Union soldiers as a hospital during the Civil War. Renovated by David & Lucinda Edmonds. Our home 1972-1973.
