On our honeymoon, my dh and I went to the Black Hills. We went to Bear Country and this is what happened. No we did not have any food or drinks in the car. A bear in the bear section walked down the road towards our car. The van that was proceeding us had food and drinks open in their car. This is why the bear approached us after they left (they did not feed the bear - but it must have smelled their food). Anyway, the bear first tried to climb our car. See the scratch mark on our hood.
