Anything Goes 2012

Despite the fact I'm not crazy about this tap dance (because we have to sing and act and wear wigs), I really love this costume but not for any dance related reasons. It's a cute costume, don't get me wrong. It's probably one of the best opening number costumes we've had in the past ten years or so. It lacks feathers, glitter, or sequins which is always a plus in my book. Actually, the reason I like this costume is because it looks like something a cosplayer would wear to NY ComicCon. Picture day, I spent the entire time I was in this costume running around giving people peace signs and exclaiming that the costume was "Kawaii" (cute). I got a fair few odd looks for that but I thought it was funny. (I'm not wearing the wig in this picture...that's my "phonytail." I REFUSED to take any individual pictures in the horrible wig. The nautical stuff is because the play "Anything Goes" takes place on a cruise ship.)
