This is one of my dad's best poems that he wrote for my mom on there 50th anniversary. The poem reads as follows..
In nineteen hundred forty three My Love, you gave your youth to me A youth of joy and smiles and fun And love that made us truly one
The years have added to our bliss Each day is started with a kiss The children came, they number nine With traits of yours and traits of mine
We love the Lord and thank him so His blessings seem to ever flow I tell you now, I say in truth I really do, I Love you Ruth
