Description: My husband bought me this fabulous antique table that I use for laying out projects and scrapbook pages. Yes, it's cleaned off now... I assure you it can get very crazy-messy when I'm working on a project. The beauty about being organized is that when I'm done, there's a place for everything and everything is in it's place!
I use an old tool caddy with glass jars I put in it to hold my paintbrushes, scissors, colored pencils, rotary cutter.
The basket on the floor has all my Simple Scrapbooks magazines.
"My little room", as my husband calls it, was created by adding a room over our foyer. It was formerly a two-story foyer that you could look down into from a second floor balcony (which became the door to the room.) I know have a fabulous room with a huge window (where the chandelier used to hang) and get lots of natural light. It was a perfect idea for an art room... the space was unused before, it would make only a small bedroom (no closet anyway) so it's just perfect. I can leave my materials out (or not... I just love a neat space) and I have a dedicated space just for me. I no longer have to share my creative space with my children (i.e. part of the playroom) or visiting relatives (the guest room) or my husband (his office). I know it's nice to share, but when it comes to creativity... it's really nice not to!
Thanks for letting me share my space with you.
