About the pictures: My DD's during Halloween, 1991. The soda can was now worn by my second DD – we certainly got our use out of that costume!

About the scrapbooking: As usual, I have tried something new that I haven't done before. Sometimes my pages seem to be as much of an adventure for me as they are an opportunity to document memories and photos and events! Anyway, thanks to Peggy (Peggynewatscrap) I have been watching The Scrabook Lounge (http://sbl.tvweekly.com/thisweek.php) and saw an episode where some pretty cool embossing was demonstrated. (It was the “Elegant Embossing” episode by Judi aired on December 29, 2006). So I tried a layering technique with my inks and embossing powders (as seen on The Scrapbook Lounge) and I came up with the pumpkins that I used to embellish this page. Fun!

Other details on the page include CTMH ribbon, chipboard photo corners, CTMH paper flowers and Making Memories flower shaped brads inserted in the top of hand cut tags, some hand cuts pumpkin vine swirls, some torn leftover scrap pp from my stash for photo matting, some striped CTMH and textured CTMH cardstock paper for my background, two eyelets set by my Crop-O-Dile with a little fall colored fibers, and some sparkly yellow jewels glued on the pumpkin vines to finish things off.

Lastly, looks like my scanner and I will soon be parting ways – scans are not accurate at all like they used to be, and lately the photo stitching is for the birds! But still, thanks for looking!
