To save on the budget... I made my daughter's wedding gown, the veil, her cascade boquet, along with the ceremony flowers. The gown is silk satin, underlined in silk organza and lined in silk also. It cost 1/5 of the gown she chose at Saks. Fifteen friends pitched in to make 22 centerpices for the reception filled with 50 gorgeous black magic roses and fillers, and all other flowers for the wedding party. The groom's mother and I took a wedding floral class together, and just went from there with the help of friends.
There are three handmade flowers here - the ribbon flower, the quilled rose, and the 5-point white flowers with green centers. For May Do-It-Yourself challenge.
