I captured this photo of my sweet nephew Nick a couple weeks ago when we were visiting him :)
JOURNALING READS:
Nick, We all were very surprised that you had decided on your own, that you wanted to shave your head. Many mixed responses prompted you to put on your hat to cover what you had done. I thought to myself, that this was a way that you were trying to express your own individuality and should never be ashamed of that. You have just turned 13 and are becoming an adult before our eyes. You are caring, thoughtful and very intelligent. I took you aside that day, and encouraged you to never worry what others think, and you should always express your individuality and be who YOU are. Your uncle Steve and I are very proud of you, our dear nephew Nick.
-Love Aunt Tess
