Hi all, things have been tough for me since the diagnosis of my beloved girl's Cancer. That was nearly eight months ago and even without treatment, other than a raw food, grainfree diet and lots of love she is thankfully still with us. We welcomed a little pup rescued from a shelter at 8wks into our household, hoping to help ease the pain for all of us. Her name, Bridie... is Celtic meaning strength and as much as we rescued her, she will be rescuing us. The two dogs get along so well, and I am sure her presence has helped to prolong the life of our beloved Keira. We take each day as it comes, but she is slowing down now, and not able to enjoy things as much as she used too. It's going to be hard to say goodbye, but for now we love her while we can, make the most of every day and know that little Bridie will be there to help us through. The top pic is of a shelter worker and Bridie and her litter mate, another female, which was in our local paper. Thanks for the visit :)
