So sorry for you - we've been there, too - It is so hard to watch them go through illnesses. The new puppy is adorable and I do hope she will be a comfort to you when that time comes... Hugs, Betty
Awww...she's a darling and such a pretty little pup!! She reminds me of my daughters Jack Russell's!! So sorry to hear that Keira is slowing down, she has been a strong girl to cope for so long!! Love this layout Vikki and the sweet photo's and those cute doggy embellies!! Good to see you scrapping again!!
Oh so bittersweet and also touching...what a dear little pup, and a dear companion to your beloved Keira. Love and companionship are the best medicine! I really like how you have incorporated the three photos in such a manner that they seem to flow together seamlessly, and the colors are also perfect! Good to see your work again Vikki!
I love this page, Vikki. I have been thinking about you and keeping Keira in my prayers. Your page is so touching and absolutely beautiful. take care and know that you are loved! HUGS!!!

a really beautiful & touching LO Vikki! I have been wondering about Keira and it warms my heart to know that you have had this 'extra time' to enjoy with her and love her. Bridie is just adorable too and I am so glad she has found a wonderful, loving home. hugs
Hi all, things have been tough for me since the diagnosis of my beloved girl's Cancer. That was nearly eight months ago and even without treatment, other than a raw food, grainfree diet and lots of love she is thankfully still with us. We welcomed a little pup rescued from a shelter at 8wks into our household, hoping to help ease the pain for all of us. Her name, Bridie... is Celtic meaning strength and as much as we rescued her, she will be rescuing us. The two dogs get along so well, and I am sure her presence has helped to prolong the life of our beloved Keira. We take each day as it comes, but she is slowing down now, and not able to enjoy things as much as she used too. It's going to be hard to say goodbye, but for now we love her while we can, make the most of every day and know that little Bridie will be there to help us through. The top pic is of a shelter worker and Bridie and her litter mate, another female, which was in our local paper. Thanks for the visit :)
