Give a Cheer
Photos of my collie Lexie from September 26, 2009 - less than 2 months before she died. Journaling says: Lexie had a brief burst of youthful energy this evening. It only lasted about 5 minutes before she went back to slow mode and she will probably be sore tomorrow, but it gives me such joy to still have these moments with her after 14 years.
This is my example for my April Four Categories Challenge - Category Three ~ Technique: Sketch. I chose this old PageMaps sketch for the players to interpret: The twist is to alter the sketch in some way - I flipped it vertically to fit my photos.
This is my LO for:
1) April Sewing Challenge. I machine stitched around the edge of the yellow pp. I also stitched over the faux stitches on the green banner in the lower right and the zigzag pattern in the upper left, which hopefully fulfills the twist to have a quilted look on the page. I also sewed 17 buttons onto the LO.
2) April Music Challenge - Song Category. The song this month is Feel This Moment by Pitbull featuring Christina Aguilera. I used alpha stickers to add a lyric from the song on the left side of the LO: Let's stop time and enjoy this moment. I did the twist to include 2 or more stickers (not including alphas) on the page - I used 2: the tab with the date above the right photo and the 'Live Laugh and Play' that I added to the bottom right.
