I'll probably go back and retitle this when I have an inspirational moment, but for now I'm really more interested in the project itself.
This was class I took last night with Miss Sarah at Scrapbook Alley, my LSS. Miss Sarah is known here on SB dot com as sarahmacnificent, and her work is always so interesting and fun! She always includes some kind of cool mixed media mix or goo or paste or something, and I'm horrible at it, so I wanted to take a class with her to learn some of it.
This is the first time I have EVER misted ANYthing that I did not absolutely hate it. I think Sarah's bottles of mist need to talk to MY bottles of mist and give them instructional lessons on how to work or something because this turned out really GREAT. In fact, I left class thinking, "I want to mist something else."
There were all kinds of little tricks and tips that Sarah taught that I had never even thought about playing with. She's going to start teaching an actual mixed media class and I'm UBER excited about taking it!
The photo -- that's my younger daughter, age 13, grade 7. It was just the photo I grabbed to use for the class because it was sitting on top of my photo pile I don't know why. I love it, but it's basically just a school photograph, so there's no real story behind it or anything. She's just a typical 7th grader, or I guess, in her case, not so typical because I actually liked HER. Let's just say 7th grade is not my favorite age group.
