Engaged

Camping on Thanksgiving Day 2003, we were engaged by a campfire in a canyon filled with water. It was Canyon Lake, Arizona, and it was absolutely perfect! We had been dating for almost three years and I think both of us were ready to take the next step. It was so quiet as we ate Thanksgiving dinner on the edge of the lake. No one was around and it was as if we had the place to ourselves. A magical place for a magical moment for and promise.
