My husband and I on our vacation in the Smokies this year. Journaling reads:
We had decided that we would take a nature hike on our next visit to the Smoky Mountains this year, and that is exactly what we did. It was only a 3/4 of a mile hike, but that is all that we could or should do since it wasn't something we did on a regular basis. It was very uneven, rocky ground that we covered, and the woods were very, very thick. We approached a large boulder along the way, and my spirit of youth came alive and prompted me to climb to the top of it. So, once I proved to myself that I could still 'do it', we proceeded on our trail until the end. This was fun for a change, and I myself am ready to go again. 'Til next time.
