Great LO! I must admit when I saw the Robert Frost poem my stomach clenched. When I was in High School I had to recite it in front of the class by memory. To this day, 12 years later I can still say it...lol. They LO is beautiful, sorry for the rambling on. =)
me and my sweetie journaling: my life has always been with what ifs and what should have beens. robert frost's poem has always intrigued me. the title implicates that he wonders about the road NOT taken, but at the end he states that taking the road less traveled has made all the difference. a good difference, or a bad? all i know is that at this point in my life, the road that brought me to where i am today has exceeded my wildest expectations. having met and married the love of my life is a greater joy than i ever expected. when my husband and i talk about our pasts, and what could have been, we always come back to where we are now, and this match that seems perfect. i could have taken several different reads at different points in my life, but i'm glad i didn't. i won't be telling my story in ages hence with a sigh, i'll be telling it with a smile, and with thankfulness that i took the road that brought me here.
