My entry for week #1 of the May ***Swirlydoos*** Round Robin hosted by Meg (Just4myboys)…

This was made with the amazing La Vie en Rose kit that Krissy put together for May, full of so many gorgeous things to work with. If that isn’t enough to get my creative juices going, I made this at Swirly Camp in CO where there was so much Savage inspiration in the air!!! But, wait, there’s more: as I was staring at the darned thing and trying to come up with the one thing to complete it, Krissy took the black feather and placed it on top; the perfect touch!!! (Thanks, Krissy!!!)
The twist this month is to create your own embellishment; the flowers are TH die cut topped with the Petaloo flowers that came in the flower add-on.

My sweet and beautiful granddaughter, Sophia, just being happy…

The title is from a song that was written in the late 1920’s. My favorite version is by Louis Armstrong recorded in 1956; it captures the feeling in this photo perfectly!!!
