There are a lot of wonderful opportunities for great photos at Camp Swirlydoos, some right outside the cabin. For instance, the barrels next to the porch: even such an amateur as I armed with the most simple point and shoot camera cannot help but get a few good shots.
Speaking of Swirlydoos, Angelica hosts a monthly Butterfly Challenge; the only rules are that the layout must be assembled with current kit materials and must contain lots of butterflies!!!
I kept this one pretty simple because I wanted to focus on the image, so I distressed the edges of the MME pp and glued it onto the TPC pp. The matting is made with 2 pieces of Bazzil cs, separated by a piece of Bo Bunny pp and fanned out and fastened onto a piece of cardboard. I cut up one of the Prima vines and used some of the daisies as centers for the Kaiser flowers. The “bands” on the side are cut with the Vintage Valise die and inked and misted and painted until I was satisfied with the color.
The pretty butterflies and the bumblebee (do you see him) are courtesy of LisaG, who keeps us all well supplied by uploading images to coordinate with our kits every month…
