these are cards I made for my MIL and her brother. My husband wanted to send them something to support them during this hard time as their dad is slowly dying of cancer and it is hard to watch and you can't do anything except let them know you are here for them. I have several bible verses around the inside and 2 on the outside of the card. This prayer is on the inside, "Every day I need thee, Lord, but this day especially,
I need some extra strength to face whatever is to be.
This day more than any day, I need to feel thee near,
To fortify my courage and overcome my fear.
By myself, I can not meet the challenge of the hour,
There are times when human creatures need a higher power,
To help them bear what must be borne.
And so, dear Lord, I pray,
Hold onto my trembling hand and be with me today"
