Oh... like *I'm* the only one who though that! Adorable LO - I would have never thought teal and peach together, but it's gorgeous! I also like the woven pp strips. Awesome work.
What a beautiful page!!!!! I love the adorable pictures, the teal frame is a beauty, and I just adore all the little details like the bird, the stamping, the flowers, ... You should handwrite your journaling more often, you have a beautiful handwriting, and though I guess printed journaling looks more even and organized most of the times, I feel handwritten journaling always adds something extra to a page.
Talk about some fabulous techniques that all came together so beautifully! This page is darling, and nothing more so than those pix with this fabulous journaling!

So adorable! Glad that you caught on camera several attempts to show how difficult this is for her to do. She would probably have more difficulty doing the "ugly hand signal" at that age than to learn to "shoot webs".
Love the weaving and the little bird! Pretty pps, too! The pics are just adorable! She is such a little cutie pie! Love the frame that Pamela sent you - very pretty!
This is soooooooooo flippin' cute Susan.......................what a wonderful job you have done here, so many little and fabulous details.....just PERFECT!!!!!!
My DGD, Helen Grace in March 2008. This layout is a result of a wonderful gift I received from Pamela (PamelaScraps). Pamela sent me the beautiful swirly teal frame and the papers for this layout...and I thoroughly enjoyed putting this together! Thanks a million, Pamela....and I'm anticipating our "lunch" when you get to town!
THe little bird is a Pink Paislee stamp that I colored with watercolor pencils and then painted (with water). The scallops are cut with the QK scallop 12" die. I stamped the "vine" with a stamp from Scrappy Cat. The small leave stamps between the photos is a Fiskars Border stamp. To make the "woven" corner, I just cut several strips of paper and adhered a teal border to each, then wove the ends together to form my corner...added brads.
My granddaughter is NOT making an ugly hand signal (RetroJulie), she's practicing her "Spiderman" web shooting! She worked for several days to get her fingers just right. It's very difficult for a 2 1/2 year old to hold down the two middle fingers, it seems! We did get quite a chuckle watching her.
The journaling is handwritten (which I don't do very often) and reads: Helen Grace - March 2008. I love watching you try to do everything your brother does. Allen & Jacob have been enthralled with Spiderman and would hold their hands "just so" to shoot their "web". Not to be outdown, you practiced for days until you could "shoot" a web just like them.
