The birth announcement I made for my DD when Maggie was born. I used BG Lemonade Collection for this layout. The large mat with the double scallops was done with a MS punch. THe baby shoes are by Jolee - I removed the white ribbon they had as laces and replaced them with pink laces. The lace came from my sister's stash (kzookeeper). I laced the ribbon with a strip of the blue cardscock and gathered it slightly. I dressed the buttons up a little by adding "flowers" as the stitches. It a very simple technique using French knots. Title letters are BG and the bee and "sweet" are stickers from the Lemonade collection. I stitched the floral mat on using my sewing machine. I added a few deep pink 3-D dots above the title. No journaling on this one, as I was just scrapping the birth announcement.
