For You Graphic 45

Today I am excited to share with you my second CHA card project titled “For You.” I love the simplicity of this design that I created using a variety Spellbinders dies. This card is perfect for teachers and students as the first day of school approaches. I can just imagine giving this card along with someone’s favorite book.

The card base is a regular 4 ¼ x 5 ½ rectangle that was die cut using Spellbinders Grand Labels Eleven. This die set, as well as Grand Labels One, is my “go to” tools when it comes to creating unique cards.

The focal image was die cut from patterned paper using Spellbinders Petite Ovals. I die cut a second oval in black to mat my image. I used Spellbinders Beaded Ovals to create a whimsical frame which I chalked and glazed with Glossy Accents. I added a simple ivory bow to the lower portion of the card for added texture.
