We had such fun!
You dressed up in your Mrs Claus suit
that you have worn for the past two
Christmas'.
I told you it would no longer fit.
You insisted that it would be fine.
I gave up on my "You are no longer six
years old..." speech.

The result was hilarious laughter,
with you posing for your photograph
looking like an oversized Elf!
I could hardly keep the camera still
long enough to take a shot.
You took it all in good humour!
