Great idea & some really great inspiration to draw upon!...I do this to an extent, by pre-paging my albums that I'm working on. Using your paper supply system, I would think this would prove really helpful, especially in the case of being portable & perfect for on-the-go cropping! TFS & WTG! ;)
I organize things vertically. I wish they would make more storage items for vertical people. It was very hard for me to find a storage system that worked for me because so many products were horizontal. I spent money needlessly on things that I did not use for long. My paper is actually easy to take to crops if I need to. I can take it right out of my binder. My entire stash is organized by color and in baggies; ready to go. It works for me. I just need more room for a shelf and my tools. I have no room for my Wizard and large MM paper cutter. I have a huge sectional in my room. It takes up alot of space. I can't bring myself to get rid of it. It becomes a storage center sometime and it gives me a place to eat and rest when I am marathon scrappin' LOL.
ME TOO - esp since paper is so expensive. I'll tell you - if someone invents a FANTASTIC way to store paper that allows us to keep it wrinkle free, quick to look through, and easy to grab & take to crops, they'll be a millionaire! I want a filing cabinet that stores paper & scraps vertically, that will match my off-white scrap table set.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for this idea. I have one of the Paper Sticker Binders that cost a fortune and I out grew long ago just hanging out with nothing in it and I am going to use it for that. What a great idea!!
I got the binder from Hobby Lobby. I get a lot of things there because of the coupons and they are usually a tad cheaper than Michaels and Joanns. They are either $14.99 or $19.99 each. I got them half off. THey are huge. The binder is 16x13. They are heavy because of all the paper in them. I got the page protectors half off too. I think I paid under $20 for the binder and a few packages of page protectors. It was affordable. I am cheap. I guess the PC term is frugal.... whatever LOL. I don't spend a lot to scrap.
Oh I most definately agree with you on the messed up corners. Is this binder a 12 x 12? I need to get one of these for when I go to crops, just so that I can see what I actually have instead of looking through Everything.
I keep most of my paper in page protectors. They hold several sheets. I am freak about my paper. I get cranky if a corner gets messed up LOL. I have two binders.
