This was created for the March BOM challenge. The challenge was to use a funny childhood photo, random funny childhood memories and incorporate a star or a heart on the LO. I got the idea for the star from a LO in Scrapbooks, Etc. Definitely not the best scan. The acrylic oval threw my scanner off.

When we moved to Amboy my cousin, Susan and I went for a bike ride around the (tiny) town. We came upon the community building and got so excited because we thought we had pedaled all the way to Mississinewa Lake. Ha! The community building was about 1/8 mi. from our
houses. Silly girls!
The summer before my sister, Bethanne,
started Kindergarten (I was 11) I told her
everyone had to hitchhike to California before
they could start school. Our mom found her walking down our little country road with her thumb stuck out. She was so gullible!
When I was about 11 or 12 years old I asked for fleece “feety pajamas” for Christmas and not only did I get them, I wore the crazy things! They were yellow and I looked like a big banana. What was I thinking?!?
When I was in 5th grade I made a friend who was Amish. I found a very “Amish-looking” dress somewhere and would spend hours on the weekends pretending to be Amish. I wasn’t mocking the Amish, I truly wanted to BE AMISH.
