Our Grand Canyon Adventure
We figured we couldn’t go all the way to Arizona without visiting the Grand Canyon. We left Tucson around 9pm Sunday night with plans to drive to Flagstaff and spend the night. Like we had hoped, Josh slept most of the drive. After getting caught behind a bad accident that closed off the entire freeway, we finally arrived at our hotel in Flagstaff at around 1am.
We got up the next morning and made the rest of the drive to the Grand Canyon. Josh still wasn’t feeling good, so we were giving him Motrin and Tylenol which made him sleep most of the drive.
We got there and went to quite a few different lookout points. It was cool and rained on and off. The Grand Canyon was so beautiful! I wish Josh would have been old enough to actually appreciate it! The poor guy looked so sad in all of the photos because he was sick, tired, and drugged.
When we finished at the Grand Canyon, we headed back toward Tucson. We were all sick of driving and ended up spending the night in Pheonix before heading back to Tucson the next morning.
