Isn't it amazing how much pleasure an empty box is for children!!! I really like all the different things you've put on this page to make it such a pretty creation!!!
Cute pictures and great job layering the papers and the mushrooms are the perfect topping. My kids played with afghans all the time, and yes, I have scrapped it.
Days later, DS and DD are still playing with the box that Aunt Katie sent filled with hand-me-downs from their cousin.
I did this page for the September Use Your Supplies challenge, week 1, which is Something Old. These supplies aren't really that old, since I haven't been doing this for long, but all the pp are scraps, and everything else came from open bags and boxes of embellishments. All the scraps came from Just Chillin', a page I did in August that has DS in this same box the day it arrived, so they're kind of companion pages.
I inked around the outside of the kraft and then doodled two fine lines, too.
