Give a Cheer
I've never been a big fan of school portraits (the fake smiles, the "oil painting" background), but they are pretty entertaining to look at after years have gone by.
This is about as girly-elaborate as I can get myself to do. I love those pages with layers of ribbon, lace, tons of delicate flowers and bling, but I always feel silly when I try to do one myself. Oh well, I'm still pretty pleased with how it turned out.
DD's obsession with butterflies has waned but she sure loved them when she was 4-7, so I was happy to find the lined school paper with butterflies on it.
