Fish Tales

We spent our Memorial Day weekend at a friend's condo on Lake Erie. It was my son's first fishing expedition, and he didn't want to go home without catching a fish. We went 15 miles out onto Lake Erie before we finally stopped to fish. It was 97 degrees on the lake and there were a ton of flies biting us. Luckily my son caught a decent sized Walleye within the first 5 minutes of fishing! We were getting seasick, so we talked our "Captain" into taking us back to shore right away...I guess fishing is not our thing! Journaling reads, "Fishing license...$11. Gas for the boat...$105. Catching your first fish in 5 minutes? PRICELESS!!"
