I had to use 2 pages in my recipe book for this dish since there is quite a bit of cooking involved.
I've been perfecting this recipe since about the age of 19 believe it or not, lol! I've always had a love for Italian food so this dish was a must for me to learn how to make...and I'm not a shortcut italian cook either. Everything in this dish is homemade or cooked by me-[if I had a pasta maker the noodles would be too but I don't own one yet so I have to make do w/store bought & boil them before assembling.] I don't like to brag, but this is the dish that always gets me a ton of compliments no matter who I am making it for.
It was a struggle & I remember a few times wanting to give up, but it was well worth the culinary challenges I faced to be able to make this deliciously AMAZING dish! TFL everyone : ]
